Neiman Marcus Moves From Ridgmar Mall

On Saturday Neiman Marcus closed it’s doors at Ridgmar Mall, ending over 30 years of a historic partnership. A longtime staple of Ridgmar Mall, Neiman’s opened their doors in 1977 shortly after the opening of Ridgmar Mall in 1976.

The closure is part of a plan announced in 2014 to move the store to a new flagship location to The Shops at Clearfork located off Edwards Ranch Road. The Neiman’s will open February 10.

Charges Dropped Against Mother After Officer’s Body Cam Video Leaked

Charges Dropped Against Mother After Officer’s Body Cam Video Leaked

All charges have been dropped against the mother and daughter in the viral video showing a police officer arresting the mother when the police were called out. The charges were dropped only after the body cam footage from the police officer was leaked to Youtube. Additional leaked information also brought to light a 2013 incident when the same officer used a taser at Dunbar High School.

Officer Martin was suspended for 10 days without pay and has now resumed work. Additionally, Officer Martin will go through retraining and will not return to the neighborhood where the viral incident took place. The family of the mother has asked that the officer instead be fired.

Officer Martin has appealed the disciplinary action taken against him.

Facebook Creator Mark Zuckberg Stops by Fort Worth Stock Show

Facebook Creator Mark Zuckberg Stops by Fort Worth Stock Show

Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg stopped by the Fort Worth Stock Show last week to talk professional bull riders on his 50 state tour. In the pictures posted by Mark Zuckerberg, he can be seen sitting front row with Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price. DFW was one of the first stops on Mr. Zuckerberg’s personal challenge to visit and meet people in all 50 states.

The reason Mr. Zuckerberg chose Texas and specifically the DFW area was in part due to having to testify for the virtual reality company Oculus against id Software which located in Richardson. After his testimony, Mark visited the Facebook Data Center in North Fort Worth located at 4500 Like Way that broke ground in 2015.
